How to Pick up Girls, not be Lonely, and more...

One of my young relatives presented this on Facebook and I took the opportunity to respond and use this as a “life lesson” that I could also pass on to my readers here. Here is his message:

I saw two country stars last two days and a lot girls and I'm still single. How do you build confidence? What  am I doing wrong? This was fun but it gets lonely at times.

My response was this:
One is not confident in only one area. When you are confident at the things you do in life; your job and your hobby excetra excetra you'll also be confident with the ladies; and other people as well. At least you had fun. And that's good!

He replied:
I needed to get out. I'm probably working my life away more than I am living. Yeah, pretty girls for me are hard to talk to or find out if they are single and I do not know how to start. Just someone like you or friends help me feel better and try figure out what I can do. I seem like a train wreck at times.

I didn’t mention this but since I’m thinking about it, I will here. Our outer circumstances start and are shaped by our inner “make up”. When we become better on the inside, what happens on the outside becomes better.

There are many things I could have “picked up” on in his message but this is where I went with my response:

Create some kind of business on the side; one that you can build around your life instead of building your life around your business- or at this point to your job. It's important to work but use that to eventually be working for yourself with the idea of having time to be able to live. Don't look back at your life and regret thinking that you weren't able to live it the way that you wanted to. And then as you go through life doing things that you like, you'll find somebody along that path that also likes what you like.

His response:
Thanks means a lot .I gotta make a few changes.

I hope you find this interesting and helpful. I have a few sources you may like at the link below. Also, leave your comments and questions in the comment box and “Follow by Email” so you won’t miss any future posts.
