Ways to "Make It A Great Day": Spread Random Acts of Email
Said any nice things lately? Be sincere and spread good cheer! Ways to "Make It A Great Day": Spread Random Acts of Email: I have been working more and more on confirming and putting together things to be a better "Life and Legacy" coach. By doing so, I...
Get Cash Back on everyday business purchases; and a small favor please.
Today I'm writing to you, the reader.
I appreciate you stopping and reading this and hope you'll help me with a project that I'm doing. In return, I will share a way how you can get cash back with everyday (and business purchases)!
Dear friend,
Good day.
I state that we are friends because we’ve been friends “forever”
or met via blog, business, online or perhaps via your response through my advertising
at one time. Mark Twain told us that “A friend is just a stranger we haven’t
met yet” but I wanted to make it clear that we do have some relationship and
that this email communication is not “spam”.
I will keep this short and to the point. Will you do me a favor?
(Actually, maybe it’s a bribe since I am offering a Free Cash
Back card which pays you cash back in your bank account every Tuesday for
normal, everyday purchases you are already making, at the end of this message).
I would consider it a favor if you help me by answering a few questions to help
me with a project I’m doing.
If you are “in” business, either for yourself or you have a
brick and mortar store with employees; or you are not in business but have been
or would like to be, your opinion counts!
Here’s what my project is followed by just 3 questions. Again, I
thank you for your time to do this and please be sure to request your FR-E-E
Cash Back card below.
You may know that I’m a consultant and public speaker. I’m
working on a project titled: “Why Being in Business is Great!” Following are 3
questions that you can simply reply to by going to my webpage and completing the form CLICK HERE or create a word
document and “go to town” with your answers and reply with an attachment. (You can also simply leave your comments in the area after this article). I
really appreciate your time in doing this; and I think, as it often does with
exercises like this, you’ll gain greater perspective and insight which will
help you.
1.
What was/is your “why” for starting your business?
2.
What is your greatest reward for being in business
(ideas: time, freedom, leaving a legacy, changing lives, other)?
3.
If today was your first day in business, what would you
do differently?
Please let me know if you are/are not/were in business when
replying to this.
Many thanks for this. If you’ve spent only minutes or an
hour on this, it is truly appreciated. I hope too that by doing this you have
gained something from it as well.
Ter Scott!
Why carry 10+ individual major store brand cards in your

Master Your Own "To Do" List (or You'll be Doing Someone Else's)
As I think about how we must master our own actions and create, take responsibility for and do our own "life list", I realize just how big a topic
this is and how it could be written as a book or a complete library or seminar.
Maybe I or somebody reading this will take up the task to do so! Here I will
tackle the subject in a concise chunk as much as is possible.
Probably the very first step in mastering one’s actions is to
take responsibility. We only need to look at the news, the last time we spoke
with a coworker or even our own thoughts to hear someone “blaming” others, the
government or our parents; even God for our woes and “lack” in life. I’m often
reminded of what Joe Vitale told us in the movie, The Secret about when he
hears people say “I didn’t attract the car breaking down, my divorce, my
sickness, by bad job and situation (he used other negative examples) and he
follows by saying, “I need to kind of get in your face and tell you that yes,
you did attract them”.
The Ultimate Law of Attraction Library
The Ultimate Law of Attraction Library
While writing this, I just took a moment to refill my coffee
cup and when I was in the kitchen I looked at everything around me on the
counters and the walls and said out loud, “I brought all this in here; I’m
responsible for all of this. If I don’t want it, I can take it out”. When we learn
that we are responsible and then we take responsibility (two different things)
we can then take the actions required to move things in and out of our lives
just like in my kitchen revelation. It may have taken us 10 years to fill our
space; kitchen or others “rooms” in our lives, so it may take a bit longer to
get rid of them, but that’s all for another article.
However, this certainly segues to the topic of our “to do”
list. Every day our actions are moving things into our life and moving things
out of our life. We bring “things” in and take the trash out. The comedian Seinfeld
talked about how the things we buy basically just turn into tomorrow’s trash!
Are we then careful about what we are bringing into our life
and also what we are moving out of our life; and as my Cosmos wisdom words
today speak of, are we taking responsibility and doing our own “to do” list?
Just as “if we don’t schedule our time, someone else will”; if we don’t make
our own “to do” list, or live our life on our terms, someone else will dictate theirs
over us and ours.
Here’s a short list of things you may be bringing into your
life today followed by things you may be moving out of your life today, in the
same regular and recurring way the waves on a shore come in and out:
1. Deciding and acting in
a positive way about your health; going to a spa, fitness center, or health practitioner
and eating right.
2. Choosing the right
food and good food to enjoy.
3. Getting enough sleep.
4. Becoming better
educated about and doing better income and outgo (cash-flow) of your money.
5. Attracting and acting
a better life with better decisions to leave a better legacy.
6. Bringing into your life
a better understanding with better choices in the area of sexual gratification.
7. Doing things that
honor and improve the well-being of your loved ones.
8. Doing things which
bring you honor, accolades, respect and that great feeling of importance.
If you’ve read my materials and attended my seminars and
workshops, you may recognize the above 8 things as those in my “Major 8” which are
the eight basic desires most all of us have. “Income” is not just “money” which
I speak about in my talks just as “wealth” and “prosperity” is not the same
thing. I’d like you to increase your income definition to include “everything
in-coming” to your life; and to be aware of what is “in-coming” and to be
grateful for it, and take responsibility for each thing so you can continue
learning to master it. (No one truly becomes a “master” of anything as it is a
continual journey; but we can certainly become far better over time).
So we’ve become aware of things that are “income” in our
life. Just about every thought and conversation and the things that we buy,
have given to us, or steal; anything that we bring to ourselves in any way come
under the Major 8 categories. We must be proactive in our acceptance of each of
these things as they come to us and “manage” them correctly to serve us in the
best way. And, we also have to dispose of each when the time comes; which also
will serve us in the best way.
Having things “leave” us can be very emotional because we
have so much attached to it. Break ups, job losses, dreams crushed, and loved
ones passing is only a partial list. Here too we must learn to manage our “list”
so we can become better and not bitter.
Again using the things from “Major 8” list above but in “moving
them out” instead of “moving them in” our lives, I will touch on each.
Pertaining to our health we may have to get rid of some of
that equipment we’re using to hang our clothes on and “move it out” of our life
by giving it new life by giving it to someone who will use it. If we are not
using our health club membership, ask why and either get serious and use it or
modify it to serve our schedule in a better way.
When we find out that certain food is not serving us in the
best way, we need to say “goodbye” and saying “goodbye” to anything we love is
hard but sometimes it’s the better choice.
Sometimes we need to put our usual number of hours of restful
sleep on hold and temporarily use less because we are aiding someone else and
doing things that require more “awake” hours; my only caveat here is that you
are the one making the decision to lose more sleep to get a deadline
accomplished or do something which makes yours or the life of someone else
better. You do not have to fill someone else’s shift because they can’t come in
to work, or take on an extra task because you need more money or someone else
is imposing his or her “to do” list on you!
Sometimes we need to say “no” to getting that second job, or
taking that second shift so we can get that extra something that we really don’t
need and simply becomes the trash that we’ll end up throwing out someday as
Seinfeld told us about. If you are considering doing something to bring in
extra money you may want to move this thought from your mind and trust the
Universe to supply your needs (and your wants and desires).
Attracting and acting a better life with better decisions to
leave a better legacy. In the department of life and legacy; this can certainly
be a very tough one because it involves your heart. Saying “no” to things and
people are the things that when looking back over the course of your life you’ll
see were the things that directed who you became and where you are presently
and I mean that literally. I can see that where I live is because of my choices
of where I went to college, who I married, where I choose to work and where my
kids now live so I can be close to them. Certainly saying “no” and moving
things out of my life in any walk of the path which led me here, would have led
me somewhere else.
When it comes to the area of sexual gratification in the
Major 8, this is probably the one for me which is the hardest to talk about;
maybe because it’s our most primal urge. Certainly one can see if they’ve lived
for any length of time that his or her decisions with whom to become intimate
with (brought into one’s life) and for whatever reason said “no” to and moved
on without, is an of your life which requires real discernment and many times,
the help of a professional.
In the doing of things that honor and improve the well-being
of our loved ones, sometimes we just have to give them room and pray for them
from afar. Moving this element out of our life is very hard but we must trust
in what we’ve already presented and in the small seeds we continue to plant for
others and especially for our loved ones (but in a more wise and experienced
manner).
Doing things which bring you honor, accolades, respect and that
great feeling of importance for our self gradually dim in the light of positive
action for others. By honoring others and putting them and their needs before
ours, guarantees our feeling of importance.
So in doing everything that we naturally do to attract and
bring things “incoming” to our lives and in the natural and intentional “outgo”
of our lives we create a “to do” list and it is our responsibility to do it. We
need to be accept things and actively put things on our list, manage the list
and then do it! But, it needs to be our list. The things on the list are the
things we want to see accomplished. It should never be someone else’s “to do”
list. Remember, if you are doing someone else’s “to do” list and not yours, you
are doing a “doo doo” list!

... no secrets to success.
“There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.” – Colin Powell
I trained inspiration to find me at that studio!
I'm asked how I and the Cosmos conspire to bring daily wisdom to our readers at: Answers From Cosmos (http://answersfromcosmos.blogspot.com). Here's a bit of insight as to how our morning coffees are like.
Murdock: You don't seem to understand! I need my studio! I trained inspiration to find me at that studio! Now, how is it going to find me? (A Team; TV show).
I take inspiration from wherever it finds me; as I’ve already mentioned that I
pull ideas from the past and present. In the movie, The Secret we’re told that
what we resist persists and recently while listening to Rev. Ike I heard him
say that when we “fight” the Devil, we “ignite” the Devil. So, in combining the
two thoughts which really are one, into one, I came up with: “What you fight,
you ignite” and that was the thought of the Cosmos that day. Then I came up
with “Don’t play with fire. I know that these words may not always “make sense”
or have meaning to me, but will for the reader; that’s part of the whole “mystical”
sense of having coffee with the Cosmos every morning. I just write what I’m
told. I then wanted something that would be a good title. I understand that
these gems of wisdom are created as posts in a blog site so the title ideally
should be a word or phrase that people are or may be searching for. So I keep
that in mind but only partially. The entire content with the PS and title all
need to make sense together and the heck with SEO formality. It’s like the
person who showed up at a large convention and someone asked how he could be
there without bringing business cards. His response was that “angels”
distribute his cards for him, and he got a lot of business from being there.
Sometimes, the “angels” are in charge of getting the right people, those who need
to read these specific words of wisdom to the post.
I
did a search and found a suitable title for this post, which I believe is an
African proverb. Even in searching and accepting this title (Take away fuel,
take away flame) I believe was inspired by the Cosmos. Many times, as with this
title, I feel that the title alone could be a great comment from A.K. Cosmos.

You can do all things; no “buts” about it!
Today I will share something which will break the chains that hold you back from moving forward, in absolutely anything in your life. Are you ready for this? OK, read on dear friend.
I’ve
heard it said many times and in many ways; and from many mentors about how we
have our “buts” in the way in the path of our goals and the things we desire. I
was most recently reminded of this when listening and watching some Rev. Ike
videos; he spoke about getting our “but” out of our mind.
There
are enough obstacles in our way of our plans that we don’t have to add more,
right? The word “but” is dangerous to our success potential and should be
eradicated from our vocabulary. I want to suggest to you that you replace it
with: “and”.
Try
this exercise that I share in my workshops and seminars to see what I mean and
start today in breaking free to move forward.
Let’s
look at a few sentences; the formula for failure is the same but your words and
wants can be mixed in many ways:
I
want to go on vacation, but I don’t
have any money.
I
want to go to college, but I don’t
have any money.
I
want to lose weight, but I don’t have
the willpower.
I
want to have more friends, but I don’t
have the time.
I
want to learn to play the piano, but I
don’t have any time.
I
want to (place your desire here), but
I (place your excuse here).
When
you use the word “but” it closes the door to any possibility thinking that
moves you ahead. If you really, really want something, then get your “but” out
of the way. Here’s how. Read the following sentences again, using the word “and”.
I
want to go on vacation, and I don’t
have any money.
I
want to go to college, and I don’t
have any money.
I
want to lose weight, and I don’t have
the willpower.
I
want to have more friends, and I don’t
have the time.
I
want to learn to play the piano, and I
don’t have any time.
I
want to (place your desire here), and
I (place your excuse here).
Wow,
can you “feel” the difference and the “releasing” power of your words now to
move you forward? How different it is to say that you want to go on vacation
and you don’t have any money. You’ve just stated your desire and a “situation”;
fix, modify and/or improve the “situation”; not a problem or obstacle, but a
situation, and you’ll attain your desire!
Ter
Scott!

Leave a Legacy of Prosperity
Have you checked out Answers from the Cosmos? It's a pretty cool site (if I do say so myself) that I and the Cosmos put together thoughts for readers every morning for them to ponder before starting the day. Here I will share how the thought "Leave a Legacy of Prosperity" came about.
First
let me share with you that usually the main thought is created and then the “PS”.
At this time there may not be the “title” yet and it comes to me after placing
the thought, then the “PS” in place to publish; then at the last moment a “title”
comes to me. When the thought is placed and sometimes even after it’s published
I will go back in immediately and do a quick “edit”.
These
thoughts from the “Cosmos” come to me at all times of the day. Sometimes it’s
when I sit at my computer in the morning that I need to publish one and I sit
for a minute and something “comes” to me. Even then I reach into my thoughts,
my past, and what I’ve been doing recently. Lately I’ve been working on a
program about “living one’s life in balance”. After many years I’ve finally
come up with a title (among other “titles”) to call myself which is the “Life
and Legacy Coach”. I realized that everything I do falls under helping
individuals and business people realize a more fulfilling life and when doing
so will leave a satisfying legacy!
When
one thinks of leaving an inheritance, they should think more than just leaving
money. Receiving money from an old scrooge or an evil uncle would still be
accepted but everything is a “gift that keeps giving” and you wouldn’t want
that kind to legacy attached to such a gift. Also, wealth and prosperity are
not the same; prosperity is the larger “picture” which includes wealth among
other things.
So
starting this moment, I encourage you to live more to leave more.
Make it a great day!
Ter Scott!
